I have over twelve years of volleyball coaching and playing experience. I have coached both girls and boys at various age levels. Besides coaching club volleyball for twelve years, I have coached middle school and High School Varsity. I received my Master’s degree in Education from Marquette University. I am extremely passionate when it comes to competition and love the sport of volleyball.

I have been a coach with DIVC for over five years and have been involved with the club for much longer as both a player and coach. I began playing competitive volleyball at a young age and continued through my collegiate career at University of Illinois. During high school, I played for DIVC and was excited to return to the club as a coach after graduating from college.
Volleyball has been a significant part of my life, and I enjoy helping athletes develop their skills, confidence, and love for the game. Outside of volleyball, I work as a pediatric speech-language pathologist, where I am passionate about supporting children’s growth and development. My coaching philosophy focuses on meeting each athlete where they are, recognizing that every player learns differently, and creating a positive environment where athletes can thrive both on and off the court.

This is technically my 2nd season coaching for DIVC. I’ve also been the head JV Coach at Schaumburg Christian School where I’ve helped develop a winning program the last 3 years!
In addition to coaching, I work as a dental hygienist at a local family practice. Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my wonderful husband Joe and our 4 kids. We love to hike, travel, watch our favorite shows together, play board games, and of course play and watch all sorts of sports!
I’ve played volleyball almost my entire life, including 7 years of club, 4 years of HS varsity, and 2 years in college. I’m extremely passionate about using sports as a positive tool to help mentor, grow, and shape young people into well adjusted, strong, and contributing human beings.

As a dedicated “super-fan” of DIVC since my sister, Marielle, first played in the club, I have always made an effort to offer my support here. My volleyball career started in high school, where I was both a player for the boys’ JV and varsity teams, as well as a manager for the girls’ teams. While attending Harper College, I played in recreational leagues until I transferred to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. There, I pursued an engineering degree, and helped lead the men’s club volleyball team as a co-captain. Though I am primarily an outside hitter, I have plenty of experience to offer insight on a variety of positions and skills. I am excited to be entering my 5th year with DIVC.

I started playing volleyball in 3rd grade and have loved the sport ever since. I started playing club volleyball in 8th grade and played through my senior year. I went on to play volleyball as a setter at Augustana College in Rock Island, IL. I started coaching while in college about eight years ago. I moved to the Chicago area after completing school in 2014, and began coaching with DIVC that same year. I look forward to another great season!
