Frequently Asked Questions

What types of programs are offered at DIVC?

DIVC offers both short season (regional) programs and a national program.  To view details on the different types of programs, please visit our program information page.

What is the cost of the season?

The cost of the season depends on the type of season you are interested in.  Our regional program cost is $1300 and our national program is $2250.  The uniform package is a separate fee of $250.

What is included in the uniform package?

Our full uniform package offers two jerseys, shorts, socks, a warm-up top, warm-up pants, a practice t-shirt and volleyball bag.

Do I need to attend multiple tryout dates? Or just one?

You will only need to attend one tryout date.  We strongly encourage you to attend the first tryout date to ensure a spot with DIVC.  Team selection begins on our first tryout date.

Should I try out for the national or regional?

It is up to you which program you would like to try out for.  If you aren’t sure where you fit best, we can evaluate during tryouts and let you know where we think you will be most successful.

What is your policy on playing time?

DIVC is a competitive volleyball club.  We are committed to giving equal attention to all athletes during practice, however playing time at tournaments will be determined by performance, commitment, position, attitude and coach discretion.

How will it be handled if there is a shutdown?

DIVC plans to follow all CDC and local government guidelines in response to the COVID19 pandemic. If we are forced to shut down our season, we will first try to make up missed practices by reopening in May and going through August. Anything that is unable to be made up will be a credit added to your account to be used at any DIVC camps, clinics, or seasons in the future.

What safety measures are in place?

DIVC plans to follow all CDC and local government guidelines in response to the COVID19 pandemic. If we are forced to shut down our season, we will first try to make up missed practices and tournaments if time allows.
